For Chicago fans and NBA fans in general, I’m sure no one is going to be shocked when I say Derrick Rose is hurt *Rolls eyes*.
Chicago Bulls star point guard, Derrick Rose, left the game against the Toronto Raptors late in the fourth quarter with a left hamstring injury Thursday night. Now if you’ve been keeping up with the D. Rose injury saga, that makes two bad knees that caused him to miss two seasons, an injured ankle that caused to miss four games this year, and now a bad hamstring.
The Bulls went on to win the game beating the Raptors 100-93 but the former league MVP would not return to the floor for the rest of the game. Rose is scheduled for an MRI on his hamstring Friday so there is no word on how serious it is yet but, anytime you bring up this guys name and an injury, you got to be thinking “this guy obviously didn’t eat his veggies growing up.” After the game, Coach Tom Thibodeau said that Rose told him he was fine and that he thought he just tweaked the hamstring. Hopefully this isn’t another set back for Rose being that he is such a young and talented player. We’re praying for you, D. Rose….again. Stock up on some Wheaties, dude.
Rose left the game with 20 points, 4 assist, and 3 rebounds.
