Laughter and smiles were going up on Tuesday as friends and loved ones gathered together with the ladies of Blaque to commemorate the life of group member Natina Reed.
Reed, who would’ve been celebrating her 34th birthday, was accidentally struck and killed in October 2012 while walking across Lawrenceville Highway in Atlanta. The Blaque: Remembering Natina event was a celebration of the life and legacy of the rapper who was said to have a feisty personality.
The celebration was sponsored by Kontrol Magazine and Exclusiv Vodka, and was held at the Too Groovy Textures Salon in Buckhead. Guests enjoyed cupcakes and finger foods while vibing to the late-90s R&B hits that put the trio on the map. Shamari DeVoe and Brandi Williams also teased new music off of their upcoming album, and a silent auction was also held with proceeds going to the Lisa Lopes Foundation.
So sad she passed at such a young age. She def was a very talented young lady
That was a great night filled with good looking and stylish people!
