Despite them having to find someone to replace Barbra Walters, producers of the daytime talk show ‘The View’ have decided to let go Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy.
Leaving only Whoopi Goldberg, producer are going to have to find some more people to fill in their shoes.
After ABC network met with them Thursday night, producers made an announcement that the pair will be living the show.
Ever since McCarthy join the cast in July of last year, the ratings started to decrease and producers began speculating that McCarthy was ruining the show’s momentum.
The lack of chemistry with the other ladies is probably what got her the boot.
As for Sherri, it has been reported that she was released from her position, because she couldn’t come up with agreement on her salary. She has been negotiating with them for a while now, and it looks like they couldn’t satisfy her demands.
It’s been rumored that Laila Ali may be a person of interest for the next season of the show. They also have thought about bringing Rosie O’Donnell back.
Even though they may be out of the job, the two continue to lift each others spirits. Sherri posted a picture of them that captioned
Shepherd posted a photo on Instagram Thursday night, saying, “Mr @DonnieWahlberg always takes care of his ladies @jennyannmccarthy & me! To be continued… ;O)”
