Unlike shoes, makeup is something that won’t look cheap when you wear it and that mascara that you paid under $10 for will not make your eyelashes fall off when applied. If you’re like me and you find yourself wearing makeup more often than not, sometimes cheaper is better. Why pay $20 each time you buy some new mascara. That becomes very expensive! Tip: You wear the makeup, it doesn’t wear you. If you know how to apply makeup correctly, there will be no difference.
Maybelline’s Great Lash Mascara works WONDERS! It’s notorious pink and green packaging is very notorious and will only cost you six bucks! Try it out for yourself, it is truly amazing.
Smith’s Rosebud Salve is an iconic lip-balm. It’s infused with rose oil and works very well on chapped lips and can be extremely helpful in this dreadful weather! Feel free to drop in to your nearest Sephora and invest six dollars into this little treat.
My grandmother was the first person that told me about this. This is really, really a gem. Cetaphil’s Daily Facial Cleanser is the BEST makeup remover there is to date! It removes makeup from your face without drying out the skin like most facial cleanser. For only eight dollars, this is really a steal!
Want super soft and moist skin? Nivea’s Essentially Enriched Body Lotion is my go to! (When purchasing, be sure to purchase the bottle that has the fifth tear drop circled). Combined with almond oil & hydra IQ, this lotion will have your skin feeling as smooth as butter.
Remember, just because it’s more expensive, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s better. A smart shopper is the best shopper.
