Spruce Into Spring: Top Beauty Trends from NYFW 14′

Spring may seem like it is NEVER going to happen, but those flowers will be blooming before you know it. And when those flowers begin to blossom, our makeup should look just as refreshing. This year’s New York Fashion Week (NYFW) gave use a peek into the upcoming season’s bold and beautiful beauty trends.

At the Marc Jacobs show, he gave guests an unforgettable look into the world of the cat eye. Using rich and very bold colored eyeliner like teal and royal blue, these cat eyes were definitely a show stopper. Makeup artist Francois Nars (NARS cosmetics) was responsible for the stunning and futuristic looks.

At the Calvin Klein show, models gave the audience what appeared to be a very natural and fresh- faced look. However, if you looked closer, models were dazzled with some bronze eye shadow on their cheeks and eye lids, giving their faces a light and natural glow.

French braids also made a comeback at Rachel Zoe’s show. Models rocked fuzzy and frizzy french braids with a very bold lip.

Bold orange lips were definitely trending in many shows, letting us know that we will definitely be looking forward to a very vibrant and fun- filled season!
