Who can resist the flavors of robust tomatoes in a creamy sauce? What about the sweet taste of honey in a cup of hot tea to warm your body and soul? Or maybe the soft yet crunchy texture of vanilla wafers and bananas in Grandma’s famous banana pudding? Do you follow where I am going with this blog? There is food we eat everyday that can help keep our hair color vibrant, our feet smooth, our skin flawless and most essentially our teeth bright. Sounds interesting? Well, continue reading this blog and see if any of these products can help keep your look in check! Here are some beauty secrets straight from the kitchen.


Do you enjoy dipping chicken, fries, or burgers in ketchup? If you really enjoying eating this condiment, try using it keep your colored tresses vibrant. Apply ketchup starting with scalp throughout your hair. Allow it to set in your hair for at least 15 minutes and wash/condition. Make sure your completely wash the ketchup out of your hair. It is not cute to walk around smelling like a hot dog!


If you want to keep a bright smile, try dipping your toothbrush into vinegar then applying some baking soda to the brush. This method is perfect for whitening your teeth at home. I use baking soda everyday to brush my teeth before I use toothpaste!


Is your best attribute your skin? If so, here is a great way to keep it glowing. Dice a tomatoe into a bowl and add some honey. Combine the mixture and apply it all over your face. Allow it dry, then wash your face. You will experience immediate results. Tomatoes are high in antioxidants that allow the body to rid itself of toxins. Honey is great for the skin because it has the ability to keep our skin tight.


My last beauty secret is perfect if you suffer from rough heels/feet. Grind licorice with Vaseline and apply to your feet. Put on some socks and allow the mixture to do the work for you! I bet you will feel as if you are walking on clouds when you take off your socks!
