Sometimes we crave food that is not so healthy for us. From the local fast food chain, to the bottomless baskets of chips and salsa at the mexican catina, we all enjoy eating things thats not so good for us. By consuming the wrong things, it is reflected through our body size and most importantly, our skin. Growing up, our meal options was limited to what our parents cooked. They made sure that the food we ate growing up was not only yumtastic, but full of vitamins and nutrients for our body. As we get older and situations change, we skew away from our parents idelogies and create our own paths whether its right or wrong. The saying “you are what you eat” is embedding in our heads but still we choose to eat what we like. Does our addiction to sweet treats have our skin wrapped up like a piece of candy?
Food addictions can be harmful to one’s health epecially if he or she does not have the control and will power to stop. Not only if it important to watch what we eat, but what we drink as well. Think of your skin as a protective layer that requires safety. Whatever we put in our mouth, will reflect through our skin. For example, if you drink plenty of water and eliminate soft drink and other beverages full of sugar, your skin will become radiant and blemish free.
