I have not a care about a what anyone thinks when you think of Target and fashion…when I think of the two, I think pure genius on the part of the giant retailer. While I haven’t gotten into the craze of Target designer mania, you my fashionista’s probably have. The 3.1 Phillip Lim collaboration launched yesterday but that didn’t stop Target from announcing it’s next designer collaboration: a spring collection designed by Brit darling Peter Pilotto.
Target has tapped the London-based designers to craft a collection that will consist of close to 70 items, which is set to include both apparel and swimwear that will retail for $14.99-$79.99. Accessories will price in at $16.99-$39.99. The line will be available on Feb. 9, both online at Target’s website and in the mass retailer’s stores in both the US and Canada — and that’s not all! The mass retailer is partnering with NET-A-PORTER.com. The luxury e-tailer is set to carry a selection of the limited-edition collection so that international fans will also be able to shop the line.
“By working with Target, we’re able to broaden our reach and bring our design aesthetic to an entirely new audience,” Peter Pilotto said in a press release. “This is a pivotal moment for our brand. Our collection for Target embodies the elegance and spirit of our own line, but makes it accessible to everyone,” added Christopher De Vos.
Will you be ready?
