The 2016 CMA Awards went down last night in a big way, but before we share some of the biggest moments of the night, let’s get through all the hot fashion that ripped the red carpet before the event! Held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, the 50th annual Country Music Association awards show hosted by veterans Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley went all the way down in country rock fashion. And in between all the awards, performances by Trisha Yearwood, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban etc.. and the overall all hype of the show being the one and only Mrs. Carter, the fashion effect of the night was everything.
The red carpet was lit with unique country fashion at its best.
Underwood, who was nominated for both Album of the Year and Entertainer of the Year, made “The” arrival in an extravagant light pink Michael Cinco gown with a profound halter neckline and full skirt, coated with pearls, Swarovski crystals, and dotted organza flowers. The singer had quite the wardrobe change throughout the ceremony, 11 ensembles, which made it one stylish event not to have been missed. Even co-host Paisley turned up his style a notch for the special event, even telling Southern Living, “It’s a big deal, 50 years, this is the year to show some class. I will be wearing a tuxedo.”
