West Coast gangster rapper, The Game, announced he’s releasing a three-disk collectors album called “The Documentary 2” in the coming year.

“The Documentary” series has been ongoing since the Compton rapper released the first album back in 2005, which served as one of his best work to date. The album featured popular hits like “Hate It Or Love It” featuring 50 cent — when both rappers shared the same label — along with “Westside Story.” This year, The Game, released both “The Documentary 2” and “The Documentary 2.5” within weeks a part from each other in October and held the number 2 stop on the billboard charts.

Switching up his musical strategy, The Game assures fans that they won’t have to wait years for the next project. As promised, “The Documentary 2: Collectors Edition,” will release January 22 and include both discs along with a third CD with four bonus tracks, one being “El Chapo.” The bonus tracks are also expected to have features from MMG rapper, Meek Mill, and Trey Songz. In addition, The Game will offer fans a 20-page booklet of photos chosen by the rapper himself, in honor of the project.

Many speculate The Game’s recent feud with rapper, Stitches, was a diversion to create a buzz for the release. Nonetheless, this project is definitely worthy of checking out for both die-hard and new fans.
