The Smurfs are BACK!!

This summer the Smurfs are making a come back with new action packed animated family blockbuster comedy The Smurfs2. It looks like the the evil wizard Gargamel is up to no good once again and this time he has creates a couple of mischievous Smurf-like creatures called the Naughties.

So to kick things into high gear for the new release The Smurfs invaded Atlanta this past weekend in support of their return to the big screen this July in The Smurfs™ 2. Papa Smurf, Smurfette and Clumsy Smurf came to the GA Aquarium as one of their tour stops across America and guess what??? They brought the fabulous  Smurfs Village with them! With a dope pop-up village, which featured inflatable mushroom houses, an Eiffel Tower slide, a photo station, coloring tables and more.

This was my first time going to the Aquarium and i decided to take my 2 year old god daughter Layla meet the fun blue creatures. We had a great time and all the kids and adults seemed to be enjoying the day also.  As we colored and took pictures with the smurfs we also got a chance to look at the fab fish and enjoy a great lunch. I have to admit i had a great time and this was really fun. I used to love the Smurfs back in the day and i’m glad that now a new generation will get to enjoy them also.

Big thanks to Robin Walker marshell for the amazing photos
