Dwyane Wade is easily one of the greatest basketball players in the NBA. The man makes the game look like ballet the way he moves. Then he also has a pretty gorgeous wife, Gabrielle Union, that only makes him shine a little more. Still, we find that not even someone as admired as this celebrity athlete is beyond reproach or judgment from his so-called fans. Especially when it comes to something as simple and seemingly uninteresting as black toenail polish….right? Wrong! The bees are stinging, and this time it is not for Beyonce!

Dwyane has recently completed a 30 day weight loss challenge and took to Instagram to post his progression. When his “fans” saw his painted toenails the negative commentary came like bullets:

As you can see they are not too happy. However, this is not “new news.” In fact, back 2011 Dwyane told GQ Magazine he showed his colorful pedicure to LeBron James. “I was on vacation in the Bahamas with LeBron and when he saw my toes he was like, ‘Something is seriously wrong with you.’ But eventually Bron was like, ‘You know what? You’re crazy, but that’s just you.’ When I first got into the league, I tried to fit in. Now I don’t care.” Way to be an individual Dwyane!
