Tupac Biopic Ready For Production!

Tupac fans can rejoice and get ready for the Hip-Hop legend to have his story told in film-form. We just got word from the guy behind the production that a Tupac biopic is ready to start filming!

It has been far too long since any word of a Tupac film has even been discussed. But now we have word from the film’s producer Randall Emmett, who has also produced films like End Of Watch and the hit television series Power alongside 50 Cent, that the project is written and ready for action. Emmett says that the film will pin-point significant time periods that lead up to the pinnacle of Pac’s career including the infamous east coast/west coast beef that Tupac was involved in.

Fans, I know the big question on your minds (especially after that horrific Aaliyah biopic that Lifetime put out). Will we actually hear real Tupac music used in the film? The answer is yes! The studio behind the production partnered up with Tupac’s mom Afeni Shakur and obtained the rights to use Tupac’s music in the film. Afeni was previously involved in a ton of legal battles over her son’s story but, these legal issues were resolved and now we can get ready to see a biopic worthy of a hip-hop legend. Lets keep our fingers crossed for something much better than that weak Tupac broadway musical…..
