Looks like the Fashion Designer, Sylvia Harden has more to worry about besides her next collection. The New York City designer was accused for leaving her 1 year old son in the car.
According to CBS New York the 35 year old Senior Designer for Rugby Ralph Lauren left her son in the car on a hot summer day last week. While she went shopping at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets in the Hudson Valley, CBS 2′s Kathryn Brown reported.
Police said the windows in the car were left cracked, the doors were locked and the toddler was strapped into his car seat for at least 15 minutes in 80-degree weather.
A spokesperson for the fashion company declined to comment on employee matters. The designer is charged with endangering the welfare of a child. If convicted of the misdemeanor charge, Harden faces up to a year in jail.
Sylvia has been with Ralph Lauren as a Senior Designer since 2005, and has even worked with the incredible Anna Wintour.
Sylvia should definitely think twice when deciding on getting some new fabric or inspiration is more important than leaving her son in the car.
