Va Va Voom it’s the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2017

At some point in most girls lives, they have dreamed of the day they are strutting down a runway. *Lights Camera Action* If the idea of walking in front of hundreds isn’t an option then simply being able to watch other women go for it. This amazing show is the Victoria Secret Fashion Show, that is held from Shanghai. Models included Bella Hadid, Adriana Lima, Karlie Kloss and Alessandra Ambrosio (who says her final goodbyes), with music performances by artists Harry Styles, Miguel, Leslie Odom Jr., and Jane Zhang.

Last night, CBS aired the 2017 Victoria Secret Fashion show, which was filmed one week in advance in the Mercedes- Benz Arena in Shanghai, China.

When Victoria’s Secret announced their debut in Shanghai, it only made sense being that China is home to a $33 billion lingerie market. Hosting an event in China is a trend of its own, with a growing capital in the business market. Not to mention Victoria’s Secret is a household name in China.

The showstopping looks between VS x Balmain are enough to have anyone tune in. This year’s show featured a $2 million Fantasy Bra wore by model Lis Ribeiro and a 275,000 Swarovski crystal bra worn by Elsa Hosk. Representing 20 countries, there were different nationalities being represented from all over the world among the girls. The girls sported looks anywhere from punk rock to ethnic and cultural aesthetics.

Anxious and excited, model Ming Xi tangled up in her floral sheer ensemble and unfortunately took quite a fall. Becoming the first model to fall in over 15years; “It happens to the best of us. Fall seven times, get back up the eighth time”, said Leslie Odom Jr.
