Rihanna Navy is ready to set sail on another dope journey. Recently, the Caribbean R&B Queen has been teasing about her upcoming album. She performed what she says to be, “the first song my fans are going to hear from the new album” at the Super Bowl Pregame Show alongside featured artist Kanye West called “FourFiveSeconds” and it’s a pretty big one I must add.
The track features the legendary, former Beatles member Paul McCartney. Yesterday, they dropped the visual for the campfire melody. The video, shoot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin who are fashion photographers, gives off a very all-American, Calvin Klein, Black and white, classical feel but speaks very powerfully. Rihanna, Kanye, and McCartney rock an all denim look that adds to the all-American, classic look and feel of the video. “Kanye came up with the idea of just doing some real street, denim, all-American-type look,” Rihanna said. “Denim never goes out of style. It’s classic, it’s iconic, just like the fucking Beatles.”
It seems like perfect timing as rumors are still swarming around about a future Kanye West and Rihanna joint tour this year after these photos were released:
And then Kanye’s spouse Kim Kardashian “liked” the post on Instagram that added to the buzz:
It wouldn’t be far-fetched as the two previously tour together on Kanye’s Glow In The Dark Tour back in 2008. Being that they have, what seems to be, a classic hit on their hands thanks to the golden touch of Mr. McCartney, I don’t see why not. It would be a hot idea!
