One trend that I cannot get enough of is fashion watches. I got my first fashion watch a couple of years ago when the trend was only budding. It was a big faced Michael Kors watch with a silver chain link bracelet. I loved this watch because it was so unconventional at the time. A woman wearing a big faced watch was rare and I loved it.
Today, they have been trending, and we are able to see big faced fashion watches everywhere and at varying price points, which is always good for the pockets!
Check out a couple of my favs below!
Michael Kors, $225
This was my first fashion watch to start my collection. I have more to add, however, I think that if you are starting a watch collection a silver-tone watch is your best bet for your first purchase. You are going to get a lot of wear out of this one because it is neutral and can practically go with anything.
Guess, $125
A gold one is always good. It is also a great second piece to add because it will help you to round out the basics: having a silver and a gold one. Once you have these staples, you are ready to venture out a bit.
Kate Spade, $225
This is probably one of my all time favorites. The pink face along with the gold hardware gives this watch a masculine feel, but girly look. This may not be great for your first purchase to create a watch collection, but definitely serves as a great third piece.
Michael Kors, $275
I love Michael Kors fashion watches in general. Maybe because this brand took my fashion watch virginity and I am forever loyal. Whatever, the case may be, this black and white combo is simple and chic. It incorporates the black and white trend perfectly without trying too hard; very clean and to the point.
