December 15, marks the day that the full one hour short film, Blame It On The Streets, will be released for the public to indulge in all that is YG. Alongside the film the soundtrack will be released as well to support both projects.
The “My Hitta” rapper based out of Compton gives a gritty look into what has been both his past and reality.
YG states,
“The short film is basically the life behind a couple of records off My Krazy Life,” YG told The FADER. “When you listen to that album it feels like you are watching a movie, so I wrote this film to give people a chance to see what my ‘krazy’ life is all about.”
He also accomplished to co-write the script with Lucky Rodgers and cast credible actors such as Rick Gonzales (Coach Carter) and Jade Yorker.
